These Terms govern your use of ShiftChange Home (the "Service"), operated by Shift-Change Home (a sole proprietorship of Gilbert Gill) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ShiftChange Home is a household command-center web app for shift-working families: shift rotations, pay-period tracking, meal planning, freezer inventory, grocery list generation, and (for Premium subscribers) household synchronization and prep-ahead calendar reminders.
2. Acceptance
By continuing to use the Service you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate others;
- infringe any intellectual-property rights;
- interfere with the security of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities, or scraping data.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Intellectual Property
We retain ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.
6. Service Availability & Schedule Reliance
We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service relies on data inputs, automated calendar math, and background notification delivery networks. You acknowledge that you will not rely solely on the Service to track mandatory employment obligations, professional shift attendance, or high-stakes schedules. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you meet your external work commitments.
7. Payments, Subscriptions, and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics please see Paddle's Buyer Terms.

9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated/serious policy violations.
10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without implied warranties of merchantability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages—including, but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of employment, or disciplinary workplace actions—arising out of your use or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
